Nefeles is a visual arts and art therapy center specializing in art therapy, art in non-formal education, and art for well-being. With a mission to foster well-being and social inclusion through innovative programs and collaborations, Nefeles combines expertise in clinical and non-clinical settings to deliver impactful initiatives. These include art therapy programs for diverse populations, such as individuals facing mental health challenges, visual impairments, incarceration, substance abuse recovery, and migration-related traumas.
With a strong presence in Italy and Cyprus, Nefeles has developed and implemented art therapy with women in substance abuse treatment, asylum seekers, and political refugees, among others. Actively collaborating with educational institutions and museums across Cyprus, the organization offers experiential, expressive art and art therapy workshops that connect participants with creativity, nature, and personal growth.
As a coordinator and key partner in SEEDS psycho-educational program, Nefeles brings its extensive expertise in mental health, art education, and therapy to deliver innovative eco-art and experiential art programs. These initiatives enhance teacher capacities, foster connections between individuals and nature, and promote well-being and sustainability, inspiring a more inclusive and mindful future.
