The Project

The SEEDS project is a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower pre-primary and primary school teachers with innovative psychoeducational tools that combine eco-psychology and environmental art. By immersing educators and their students in hands-on activities within natural environments, SEEDS nurtures overall well-being, fosters a deep appreciation for nature, and promotes harmonious coexistence.

Key objectives include:

  • Empowering Educators: Train at least 10 teachers in eco-art and non-formal education methods, equipping them with the confidence to develop creative, nature-based learning experiences.
  • Transforming Learning: Reach over 250 students with engaging eco-art activities like creating natural pigments, land art, and sensory workshops that connect arts, science, and emotional well-being.
  • Building a Community: Share free, easy-to-use educational resources with at least 1,000 stakeholders, creating ripple effects across schools, environmental organizations, and cultural institutions.

By addressing critical issues like climate change, digital isolation, and the disconnection from nature, SEEDS integrates arts, psychology, and ecology into a cohesive program. It forges a collaborative network between educators, environmentalists, artists, and policymakers across Cyprus and Spain, fostering cross-cultural understanding and sustainable change.

With a focus on mental health and environmental awareness, SEEDS lays the groundwork for a brighter, greener future—one classroom at a time.
